The prefabricated substation features a unique structure with a honeycomb double-layer composite panel enclosure, which is firm, heat-insulating, heat-dissipating, ventilated, and aesthetically pleasing, with a high level of protection. The enclosure materials are available in stainless steel, aluminum alloy, cold-rolled plate, and color-coated steel plate.

Available in various types such as general, villa, and compact styles, the YB12 model is designed for flexibility in different environments. The network automation terminal (DTU) can be installed in the high-voltage ring network cabinet to reliably detect short circuits and single-phase grounding faults. Additionally, the YB12 model features "four remote" functions, making it convenient for prefabricated substation automation upgrades.

The integrated substation uses low-loss, oi-immersed, fully sealed S13,S20,S22 series transformers. it can also use resin-insulated or NOMEX paper-insulated environmentally friendly dry-type transformers.The bottom can be equipped with a trolley to facilitate the entry and exit of the transformer.

The high voltage of the integrated substation is generally protected by a load switch-fuse combination. After one phase of the fuse is blown, the three phases trip together. The load switch is available in air-blast type, vacuum type, and SF6 type and other types. it can be equipped with an electric operating mechanism to achieve automatic upgrades. The fuse is a high-voltage current-limiting fuse with a impactor, featuring reliable action and large breaking capacity, For transformers of 800kVA and above, vacuum circuit breaker can be selected to protect.
