Summary
The ZW43-12 type outdoor high-voltage permanent magnet 12kV vacuum circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the permanent magnet switch) is an outdoor high-voltage switchgear with three-phase AC 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 12 kV. This advanced 12kV vacuum circuit breaker is mainly used as the 10 kV outlet switch in substations and serves as a protection switch for breaking and making load currents, overload currents, and short-circuit currents in 10 kV three-phase AC power systems.
Designed to handle various applications, it can also function alongside an 11 kV VCB for reliable distribution protection and can be paired with a 200 amp outdoor main breaker for enhanced safety in outdoor installations. The 12kV vacuum circuit breaker fully complies with GB 1984-2003 High Voltage AC Circuit Breakers, DL/T 402-2007 High Voltage AC Circuit Breakers Ordering Technical Conditions, and DL/T 403-2000 12 kV–40.5 kV High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers Ordering Technical Conditions and other technical standards.
Usage Environmental Conditions

2.Altitude should not exceed 3000m;
3.Air pressure should not exceed 700Pa (equal to air speed 34m/s);
4.Pollution grade: IV grade (Creepage distance ≥ 31 mm/kV);
5.Thickness of ice coating: ≤10mm;
6. There should be no fire, explosion danger, serious pollution, chemical corrosion and violent vibration, etc.
Structural Features
1. The permanent magnet switch consists of a vacuum switch body, a monostable permanent magnet operating mechanism and an intelligent controller, so that it has a wide range of cooperation and flexible and convenient action program selling mode, with high reliability and safety. It is a new "mechatronics" intelligent high voltage switchgear with functions of control and protection.
2. Due to the adoption of new process and new technology, it has achieved oil-free, miniaturization, high reliability and maintenance-free. It is an ideal replacement product for urban and rural power grid transformation.
3. There is no need to set up a relay protection system, which can simplify the facilities of the substation, reduce the construction cost of the substation, and improve the reliability of power supply.
Product Component
The permanent magnet switch consists of three parts: the circuit breaker body, the monostable permanent magnet operating mechanism and the intelligent control unit (permanent magnet mechanism controller). The main body features a three-phase split structure, with three independent phase column assemblies vertically mounted on a rectangular aluminum alloy box body. Inside the box body are the permanent magnet operating mechanism and the transmission system, forming the body of the high-voltage switch. The intelligent control unit (controller) is arranged separately from the body, and the two are electrically connected by a dedicated cable.
The pole assembly is the core component of the switch. It integrates the vacuum interrupter, current transformer, and inlet and outlet line into a whole using outdoor epoxy resin. Among phase current transformer A, B and C, Phases A and C are used for protection, and Phase B is used to charge the control unit. The horn-type soft connection in the phase column assembly connects the movable conductive rod of the vacuum interrupter and the lower outlet seat to form a conductive main circuit. The insulating pull rod, installed in the lower chamber of the phase column assembly, connects its upper end with the moving conductive rod of the vacuum interrupter. The lower end extends straight into the box and connected with contact arm on the drive spindle. When the mechanism drives the spindle to rotate, the insulating pull rod pulls the movable conductive rod of the vacuum interrupter and it can realize the opening and closing operation of the main circuit.
The monostable permanent magnet mechanism is a single-coil structure. It mainly consists of iron core, ram, coil, magnetic raft, permanent magnet and mounting plate. The pulling rod on the moving iron core of the mechanism is hinged with the driving crank arm on the spindle, so that the reciprocating linear motion of the moving iron core is transformed into the oscillation of the spindle.
